How does one know what specific areas for which to seek help? My guest for this charla, Ashley, talks about deep topics as areas that led her to finding a therapist; however, during her therapeutic experiences, she realized there was so much more to uncover about herself.

Understanding the underlying issues that may be leading us to seek help is important, but Ashley reminds us that we are also so much more than our current symptoms. She shares that her therapeutic journey has not only helped her become more self-aware but also has decreased the sense of having to go through life’s most vulnerable moments alone. She invites us to be open to topics that may come up in therapy that look as if they have nothing to do with what brought you to therapy in the first place in order to find your inner jewel.
